Cemetery Department The Cemetery Department is responsible for the care, maintenance, preservation, and improvement of over 45 acres of Town-owned cemeteries, including: Island Pond Cemetery Mount Pleasant Cemetery Evergreen Cemetery South Harwich Cemetery Kelley Cemetery North Harwich Cemetery East Harwich Methodist Cemetery Harwich Center Cemetery Hawks Nest Cemetery Indian Burial Ground (Queen Anne Road) Baptist Church Cemetery Smith Family Cemetery Mehitable Wixon-Chase Cemetery Harding Ryder Grave Site Routine maintenance for these areas includes mowing, raking, pruning, and repairing broken gravestones.
