The Forestry Department is committed to maintaining and expanding a diverse population of shade trees as an essential component of the Harwich Roadside Beautification Program.

Each year, with the invaluable assistance of the Cape Cod Tech Horticulture Department, approximately 40 new shade trees are planted throughout Town.
